I love @manygradients on Twitter, like many of the other random content generating bots on there. However, because of these SUBPAR LOW QUALITY TRASH GRADIENTS [1] [2] [3] [4], and after almost having a nervous breakdown about it [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8], I went and decided to try my hand at my own gradient generator, one that is free of CRAPPY FAKE ASS GRADIENT. It was written in Game Maker Studio cuz lazy.

My code avoids SUBPAR GRADIENTS by a formula that kinda looks like this:

abs( [h/s/v of color 1] - [h/s/v of color 2] ) < threshold

That is, it subtracts the hue of the first color with the hue of the second color, and compares the result to the threshold. Then does the same with the saturation and value. If any of those values are smaller than the threshold, it generates a new color. It does this until all three values are bigger than the threshold.

Like, wow, it's so easy I did it in like an hour, and it ensures that only BEST GRADIENTS™ are generated. And it's not even the best solution.
